The Waste Industry is potentially a very dangerous place to work and fatal injury is not uncommon. We are passionate to ensure that our clients waste operations are safe and aspire to help you achieve this through:
Glyn has a NEBOSH Diploma in H&S, is an active member of IOSH and has wide-ranging knowledge of H&S beyond his interest in the waste industry.
Detailed audit of your facility will:
An audit consists of a site visit entailing completion of a detailed checklist appropriate to your facility/operations; photographic and written evidence of non-compliance or specific issues requiring attention; and a written report for your records from which you can remediate issues raised.
Documented assessments and procedures are the foundation for operating a safe site. All activities at your site/operation should have appropriate risk assessments (including COSHH if relevant) and safe systems of work for specific activities which may put your operatives at high risk.
We can review your existing risk assessments, safe systems of work, site induction/staff training procedures and advise you as to how these should be improved or expanded and up-dated.
We like to keep our clients aware of potential issues at their facility and provide free e-bullets as and when topics of interest arise.
To be safe in the work place all operatives need some level of training; those managing a facility need the best training possible.
Understanding Health & Safety legislation in the waste industry is a key aspect of the WAMITAB competency awards and associated Continuing Competence.
If there is a gap in your knowledge we provide mentoring throughout the assessment process and will continue to raise awareness through informal discussion and provision of sample questions relevant to the CC test.
